Dejar un comentario en un blog puede resultar en un relevante enlace do-follow para tu pagina web. La mayoria del tiempo, sin embargo,dejar un comentario en un blog resulta en un enlace no-follow , que no tiene relevanciae n los ojos de los motores de busqueda, tales como Google y Yahoo!.En otro asunto,la mayoria de comentarios de blog consiguen clicks  de los lectores del blog si el comentario tiene sentido y pertenece a la discusion del tema del articulo del blog.
